As Mifra strives to innovate new services, we have decided to invest in our own Research and Development (R&D) departmentet. This department will collect data and assess the potential for product upgrades and/or modifications.

Football is arguably the most popular sport in the world thus, leading our company to focus in on how we can contribute to creating promising new opportunities for players. Mifra believes that focused investments in R&D are critical to promote future growth, obtain a competitive position in the marketplace, and develope services that are central to the company’s core business strategy.

The new investment in our R&D department will be an impertanive piece in enhancing our development phase, which ensures a new product will meet guidelines and any lawful requirements. This process will help validate the effectiveness of our products and services currently being used, in addition to, supporting the implementation of new products or processes.

Mifra Academy knows how important is to invest in young athletes who display a talent for the sport; therefore, we are glad to announce a collaboration contract with Francisco Tomás González-Fernández. He is a professor and researcher at Comillas Pontifical University ICADE, who recieved his doctorate in biomedicine. Francisco has worked for many football corporations which were focused on optimizing the potential of young athletes.

Not only does this experience qualify Dr. Francisco Tomás González-Fernández  to scout talent but it also gives our players the opportunity to connect with well-known footballers and coaches around Spain through his connections.

When our students and athletes are involved, Mifras R&D Department will not shy away from high-risk projects, even if they only offer short term earnings. The core of our academy is to aid footballers in reaching their highest level within the sport and the investment in coaches, such as Dr. Francisco Tomás González-Fernández, is a great representation of that.
