How our soccer gap year program works?
The place to grow as a player
The program runs from August to June and offers full immersion in Spanish football. Our players are registered with Spanish clubs that compete under the Spanish Federation.
Players also train every morning under our coaching staff, where physical trainers, tactical coaches, and physios supervise all sessions.
Our families expect results at the end of the program, so Mifra provides clear pathways for both college opportunities and professional development.

OUR GOAL
Our goal is to help each player reach their full potential and find the best path for their soccer career, whether that’s college or a professional opportunity.
We take the time to listen to our players and their families to understand what programs best suit their strengths and goals.
Every player is different, which is why working with them individually throughout the year makes all the difference.

THE PROGRAM

training sessions
Morning training sessions are built around each player’s performance with their Spanish clubs. We focus on the perfect balance of physical, technical, and tactical work helping our players become stronger, faster, and sharper.

Transport
Transportation is provided for all of our players to ensure smooth logistics. We have multiple vans that take them to morning training sessions, club training every evening, and their games on the weekends.

Spanish Team placement
The reason players choose our gap year program. Mifra players always compete at the highest tiers of the Spanish system. This allows us to achieve the best outcomes by the end of the program.

SPANISH LOCAL TEAM PLACEMENT
Players begin doing tryouts with Spanish clubs in August. Mifra works as an agency, providing opportunities based on each player’s level. We guarantee that every player signs with a Spanish club, and we work closely with them in case they need to switch teams during the season.
College coaches understand and are very familiar with the Spanish soccer system and its different levels, so it’s important that players compete at a high level in Spain to ensure a smooth transition into college soccer.
